HEALTH POLICY
At Prestige Boston Terriers, we stand behind the health and quality of every puppy we place. We guarantee that at the time of sale, your puppy is in good health, has received age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming, and has been examined by a licensed veterinarian. Your puppy has no known congenital or hereditary defects at the time of transfer.
This health guarantee requires you to have your puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within three business days of taking possession. You must provide us with a written veterinary report within five business days. If a serious health issue is found, you must notify us immediately. Failure to complete the 72-hour veterinary examination voids this entire health guarantee.
If a life-threatening issue is found within 72 hours, you may return the puppy for a full refund, keep the puppy and receive a partial refund, or exchange for another puppy from a future litter.
We guarantee your puppy against severe hereditary conditions for twenty-four months from the date of birth. Covered conditions include severe hip dysplasia, patellar luxation, juvenile cataracts, and other life-threatening hereditary conditions confirmed by a board-certified specialist. To qualify for coverage, you must provide annual veterinary records upon request, submit specialist documentation confirming the diagnosis, and ensure the puppy is spayed or neutered if a condition is diagnosed.
This guarantee does not cover mild conditions, injuries or accidents, improper care or diet, allergies or skin conditions, parasites, infectious diseases contracted after leaving our care, cosmetic issues, or behavioral issues.
For this guarantee to remain valid, you must complete the 72-hour veterinary examination, provide annual veterinary care, maintain a healthy weight for your puppy, and spay or neuter by twelve months of age for pet puppies. You must also notify us immediately of any health issues and provide veterinary records upon request.
If a covered genetic condition is diagnosed, we will provide a replacement puppy from a future litter. You are responsible for shipping costs for the replacement puppy. This guarantee does not provide a refund of the purchase price or reimbursement of veterinary bills.
This guarantee is void if you miss the 72-hour veterinary examination, use the puppy for breeding without our written permission, abuse or neglect the puppy, feed an improper diet or allow obesity, transfer ownership without notifying us, fail to provide veterinary records, or euthanize the puppy without a necropsy.
By purchasing a puppy from Prestige Boston Terriers, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to all terms of this Health Policy.
